A FAIRYTALE COME TRUE

Fairygodmother Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) organization that grants wishes to terminally ill adults given a year or less to live.

We offer a respite, a time for happiness, a last opportunity to laugh and cry with family or friends, the possibility to mend broken relationships, the chance to visit a special place for the first or last time, and to bring closure to life in a personal way. Our Wish Recipients are husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, coworkers and best friends, all in need of a Fairygodmother.

• Since 1998, Fairygodmother Foundation has granted hundreds wishes in all 50 states.

• We work on approximately 30 wishes each month.

• The organization’s overhead remains extremely low – 76 percent of the funds we receive are spent directly on the wish granting program.

It’s a remarkable track record, one that has only been possible thanks to a great team consisting of the Boards, staff, donors, and volunteers. The individuals and businesses who provide their time, their money, and their services make a real difference in the lives of real people.

Real people like Kathy, a wife and mother who wished for a sewing machine so that she could make quilts for her family. We made it happen.

Real people like Matthew, husband and father from Maryland who wanted to experience a fun and relaxing trip to Disney World with his wife and children. We made it happen.

And real people like Jimmy, a young man in his 20's who wanted to stay in touch with family and friends during his cancer treatments with laptop. We made it happen.

So many memories have been born since 1998. But there are more wishes waiting to come true. Fairygodmother Foundation continues to depend on the kindness and generosity of individuals and organizations across the country to further our mission.

It’s people like you who ensure that Fairygodmother Foundation continues to be the place where happy endings begin.
